What do I need to bring to my IV appointment?

Nothing! We will ensure everything is ready in time for your appointment, you can bring something fun to fill the time like a book or tablet.

Do I need a prescription for IV iron infusions?

Yes, we require a physician's prescription for IV iron. The form is available for download on this website on the "Iron Infusion" page.

Physicians can fax the form directly to Echo Health at (250) 419-8344.

How far in advance do I need to book IV appointments?

We can typically schedule patients in within the same week. If an emergency infusion is required we can sometimes expedite to book patients within 1-2 days.

Do I need to pickup my IV medication?

No, your medication will be delivered to us prior to the appointment.

We have your medication hand-delivered by pharmacists to ensure the cold chain is maintained and courier delays do not impact your treatment.
